Our task

The Birgit Nilsson Foundation, founded by the deceased opera diva Birgit Nilsson, launches a new prize in the fields of opera and classical music, worth one million dollars. Farner is responsible for all communication activities: PR, corporate design, online, event management).


The Birgit Nilsson Prize was presented to the media on December 5, 2008 in Stockholm. At the same time, the official Birgit Nilsson Prize website was launched. The website includes extensive information on the Prize, the Foundation, Birgit Nilsson and the winners, as well as large array of photos. Farner conceptually designed, planned and staged the first-ever Award Ceremony in the Royal Opera House of Stockholm. The King and Queen of Sweden and many other illustrious guests were attended the Ceremony on October 13, 2009, where Plácido Domingo was awarded the first-time Prize for outstanding achievement. Farner was responsible for the invitation and hospitality management of all invited VIP guests.


Top tier media around the world reported on the Birgit Nilsson Prize. The Award Ceremony set high standards for music prizes and ceremonies and wowed both attending guests and the press. Also, the website was widely appreciated.
